Presentation This is the scan in a 70-year-old woman with a right painful lump. She is status post hernia repair, performed a year ago. A focused anterior abdominal wall scan was performed.

Description: The site of the painful lump revealed a complex septated fluid collection.

Description: A complex oval septated fluid collection is also seen within the left abdominal wall.

Description: The fluid collection is noted again. The 2 collections were seen on either side of the midline and did not cross the midline. These most likely represent hematomas within the rectus muscle.
