Presentation This is a 45-year old woman, status post hysterectomy- 2 weeks. An ultrasound of the pelvis was performed due to pain in the lower abdomen

Description: A complex, heterogeneous mass with ill-defined margins is seen in the pelvis at the hysterectomy site. The mass shows mixed hypo and hyperechoic areas.

Description: The hypoechoic areas in the mass contain low level echoes. The probe pressure produced tenderness over this region.

Final Diagnosis Post-operative hematoma
Follow Up This collection was aspirated and the diagnosis confirmed. The hematoma gradually resolved.
