Case report

This is a case of an ectopic pregnancy detected at 7 weeks. A live embryo was located within the ampullar region of the right Fallopian tube.

Images 1, 2: Color Doppler images showing the dilated right Fallopian tube with the live embryo lying within the tube and detectable heart activity.


Images 3, 4: The image 3 shows sagittal scan of the uterus with thick endometrium. The image 4 shows a gray scale transverse scan of the right Fallopian tube with the extrauterine localized embryo within the tube.


Images 5, 6: The image 5 shows 3D imagination of the extrauterine pregnancy within the right Fallopian tube. The image 6 shows perioperative picture of the dilated right Fallopian tube due to the extrauterine pregnancy.


Images 7, 8: Images shows detailed views of the right excised Fallopian tube with the extrauterine pregnancy.
