Case report

A 24-year-old primigravida was sent to our clinic in second trimester of her pregnancy due to polyhydramnios. Our ultrasound examination revealed several anomalies.
- Atrioventricular septal defect of the heart with hypoplasia of the pulmonary artery;
- Absence of the stomach with suspected esophageal atresia;
- Absence of the right radius and thumb with radial deviation of the hand;
- Anal atresia.

She was rescanned at 37 weeks with the same findings. After delivery a vertebral deformity (hemivertebra at the level of sacrum was found). The anomalies were consistent with the VACTERL association.
