Trisomy 21, 29 weeks

This is a 35-years-old, G3,P2, first seen at 32 weeks.
There is a slight discrepancy between the biparietal diameter (BDP: 77 mm = 29 w) and long bones (Femur: 50 mm, humerus: 47 mm (= 27 w).
The face demonstrate a smoothing frontal area, macroglossia and micrognathia.
There was also an incidental liver calcification of 7 mm
Echocardiogram was normal
The findings suggested that this fetus had trisomy 21. This was confirmed by placenta biopsy at 34 weeks (47, XY + 21).
