Artemisia medical center, Italy.
The images below show a case of the right aortic arch detected during a second-trimester ultrasonographic investigation.
Images 1, 2: Normal appearance of the four-chamber view of the heart (image 1); and left outflow tract of the heart (image 2) - the aorta is running on the right side of the trachea.

Images 3, 4: Normal right outflow tract of the heart (image 3); and three-vessel view of the heart.

Images 5, 6: Power Doppler images at the level of the three-vessel view. The aortic arch is visible running on the right side of the trachea, forming a U-shaped confluence with the ductus arteriosus.

Images 7, 8: Power Doppler and color Doppler images at the level of the three-vessel view. The aortic arch is visible running on the right side of the trachea, forming a U-shaped confluence with the ductus arteriosus.

Video 1: The video shows a power Doppler scan at the level of the three-vessel view with the aortic arch visible on the right side of the trachea, forming a U-shaped confluence with the ductus arteriosus.
