Case report
The following images show a case of the iniencephaly associated wit the bilateral cleft lip and palate diagnosed at 20 weeks of a pregnancy.
Images 1, 2, 3, and 4
:
20 weeks; the images show 3D images of the fetal face with bilateral cleft lip and palate (green arrows). The image 2 represents a fusion of the image 1 with a drawing explaining the structures visible on the image 1. The arrow on the image 4 points at the premaxillary protuberance between the clefts.
Images 5, 6
:
20 weeks; the images represent sagittal scan of the fetal head with premaxillary protuberance between the clefts of the lip and palate (arrows). The head is kept in retroflexion.
Images 7, 8
:
20 weeks; the images represent sagittal (Image 7) and coronal (Image 8) scans of the fetal retroflexed head due to the iniencephaly.
