Case report
Following images show a case of lumbosacral spina bifida diagnosed in one of twins at 21st week of a dichorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy conceived after in vitro fertilization.
Images 1, 2: 21 weeks of pregnancy; the image 1 shows lemon-shaped skull of the affected twin. The image 2 shows transverse scan of the fetal spine of the affected twin at the level of lumbosacral spina bifida - white arrows point at splayed lateral vertebral pedicles at the level of the spinal defect.


Videos 1, 2: 21 weeks of pregnancy; the videos show transverse scan of the fetal head of the affected twin with Arnold Chiari malformation.
Videos 3, 4: 21 weeks of pregnancy; the videos show transverse scans of the fetal spine of the affected twin at the level of lumbosacral spina bifida (green arrows point at splayed lateral vertebral pedicles at the level of the spinal defect).
