Intracranial teratoma
Miguel Octavio Sosa, MD
Maracaibo, Venezuela This is a 33-year-old primigravida first seen at 25 weeks. A large echogenic mass with minimal Doppler signal and no acoustic shadowing was seen. During the rest of the gestation the mass enlarged towards the frontal region and caused hydrocephalus.

The baby was delivered by c-section and CT confirmed that the lesion represented an inoperable teratoma.
