The speaker discusses the use of ultrasound in evaluating axillary lymph nodes. Upon completion of this educational activity the participant will list reasons why ultrasound is the modality of choice in evaluating axillary lymph nodes, identify future directions that will enhance US in evaluating axillary nodes, describe normal lymph node anatomy as well as the sonographic appearance of lymph nodes with metastatic involvement.
