Case report

This is a case of a 25-year-old patient (G1P0) with unremarkable history, first trimester screening was not performed.

Our ultrasound examination at 17 weeks of pregnancy revealed alive fetus who had a mass derived from the right axillary region which was extending to the anterior and posterior thoracic wall with fluid-filled cavities about 4 cm in size.
No evidence of intrathorasic extension of mass. No other malformations were detected.

Parents choose the termination of pregnancy and the prenatal diagnosis of axillary lymphangioma was confirmed.

Images 1-3: 2D images show a large mass with fluid-filled cavities suggesting a lymphangioma.
