Hepatic calcifications

Juan Carlos Quintero, MD

Universidad del Valle - Cali - Colombia

This is a 23-year-old primigravida, referred to our unit at 34 weeks for polyhydramnios. The ultrasound findings were ascites, associated hepatic calcifications and growth restriction. One week later, the baby died  (stillbirth). A TORCH infection was suggested as the final diagnosis.
