Case reports

Following images show a case of trisomy 18 which ultrasonographic signs were seen at 12 weeks of gestation.

Images 1, 2: 12 weeks of gestation; transverse scans of the fetal head showing mild brachycephaly and irregular choroid plexuses.

 

Image 3: 12 weeks of gestation; transverse scan of the fetal abdomen at the level of insertion of umbilical cord showing small omphalocele.
