This is a 35-year-old woman, G1 at 36 weeks of pregnancy with no relevant medical history. A complete atrioventricular canal, dextrocardia and absent interventricular septum were noted on ultrasound. Presence of the pulmonary artery and a hugely dilated aorta was aslo observed. No other anomalies were noted.







Postnatal echocardiograms confirmed the diagnosis. The baby was delivered and taken to corrective surgery. He spent a month at the intensive care unit but unfortunately died soon after.
